I started making my grandchildren rag quilts when they turned 8 years old. At the time I didn't have so many. Now I have 18 going on 20 counting the step children. As of now I have 5 to go. When they move into their first home of their own, will make them another nice pieced quilt. So far just one of them given, with 19 to go. I gifted all of my 5 Children one for Christmas 2 years ago as a family gift, and they know they won't be getting one every year, but never really thought that It could obligate them.
