It wouldn't be so bad to see those prices but at the same time the quality of the fabrics seem to have declined!! Our LQS fabrics seem so much thinner than they used to be. I noticed this too. I have some fabric that was bought a few years back LQS quality and it is soft and silky just beautiful. The same manufactuer is thin and rougher feeling and I could see through it. I am sorry but I will not pay $10-11 a yard for the quality fabric I bought in Walmart 2 years ago for $3.
I honestly came home thinking that I should just quit quilting and sell off everything because I just can't afford it anymore . I am not good at making quilts from clothes etc.
