I'm putting together a memorial quilt of my grandson for his folks and am using some of his T-shirts and other clothing. On some of the blocks where I've cut out a portion of a shirt I want to outline an area with fine cording to give it a really finished look. The cording has no sewing edge and I don't know whether to apply it with a couching stitch or a through-stitch. I want it to look really polished - any ideas for the best way to attach the cord? Of course the easiest would be to use fabric glue but I don't know if that would stand up to wear and washing. Your thoughts please?
