I don't know about this.. . I had my friends sign up for the flyers so I could get their coupons and I use everybody's and mine in the same order and have never had a problem. A cashier at Joann's told me the bar code is just to keep the name fresh in the computer so it wouldn't be dropped from the receiving list. That's why a lot of times I can't use a coupon for anything because of a sale, but they always scan my flyer to keep me current in their system.
