I don't have a barn, but I have been thinking of a pattern to use to make one to use on the side of my house. In the Appalachian area of NC they have a tour of barn quilts throughout the country-side.
If you do a search of the net you can find a couple different maps on routes to follow. I haven't taken a trip yet but I'm hoping to this fall when it cools off around here. I think they have them in Tenn and KY as well. I know there is on on the side of a barn on I-75 outside of Louisville, KY close to the water tan that has the horses on it for you folks in that area, lol

I know there are trails in KY and Ohio, just can't find the links right now. I'm sure they are in several other states as well. Wouldn't it be wonderful for them to pop up on barns all over?
