It was an honor to be asked to make them. I was surprised by the tearful reaction of the person who made the initial request, when I showed her the finished product. Granted I had never shared my quilting passion with my church family before this time. For the recipient of this particular stole, a student, I'm thinking it might be his first, so he was all smiles and very appreciative. I thank God for giving me the patience, expendable income, persistence, and ability to explore and enjoy quilting.
