Now that my stuff like that is sorted into color families including white, blacks and browns, into gallon baggies in a row on the shelf, I find myself getting into them frequently. Ironed flat- they take up a lot less space!!!
That said, I recently gave away a whole large log cabin quilt top I really disliked - that was easy! LOL!!!
....and I do toss quite a lot during the sorting... or give bigger pieces away. I don't keep any scrap under a 2 1/2" square.
Sorting, instead of sewing are my "awake-in-the-wee-hours of-the-night" projects ! (No damage to me or ongoing projects done!)
