It would look lovely in any room since it has a variety of colors. It is long enough for my diningroom table (which is about 70 years old. Back in those days, tables were a bit narrower and longer) so 44 inches wide with just a small amount of border material added would make a very rich looking tablecloth especially in a room with an oriental rug. While I could never afford the $$$ that Christies is asking, I am sure that you would have no trouble (in the right venue) selling such a tablecloth. Think of all the fabric you could buy!!!! LOL Seriously, I like the idea of a large central motif and using the rest for OBO blocks around it. I hope that you will keep us posted on how you decide to use the fabric.
