Okay, so I have both the large and small size twister tools and am going to make the larger size using 10" squares with 30's reproduction fabrics. I've seen a lot of twister quilts here and they are all beautiful. My question is: when you sew the squares together prior to using the tool, is there a specific plan that you follow to get a good mixture?
Like how the DP9 might have a solid in the 9patch center. I don't want all of my pinwheels to just run together. Any good tips you can offer from your experiences would certainly be appreciated. Thanks.
