your "first" chihuahua set you up for falling in love with chihuahuas, didn't she? i got a 4 yr old chihuahua (scooter) from my sister -- and i was in love. my family always had irish setters -- and i never knew how wonderful a "small lap dog" could be. setters thought they were lap dogs -- but our laps suffered.
