I have made 3 DWRs and about to begin another. Making one is just a matter of time. Don't hurry. As you go along, it will become simpler. As was suggested, make a table runner or whatever, something small to get the feel. I have thought of placemats, but 1 ring would not be large enough, and 2 perhaps too big. I'll see. Good luck.
