No. I just don't find them attractive. On anyone, at any age. My son went to a lot of trouble to design his own Celtic 'bracelet' around his upper arm. To him a month or so before he told me. I guess it is a kind of jewelry these days, but I grew up hearing that only 'bad people' got them, which of course is not true, but I have to work very hard (and I do) to ignore that voice. I do not like the permanency part, not because of age, but just that I would get tired of it at some point. And it's not a sin - I just don't care for tattoos, or scarring, as some of the native African people do. I don't see how inflicting pain to the point of passing out makes anyone a better person.

To the person whose uncle was tortured and shunned, you have my sympathies for people's deep unkindness and cruelty.
