By coincidence, yesterday I stumbled across the rules for a show in Georgia.
A couple of board members had just posted that their quilts were juried in to the show.

From the entry rules:

Entry Form. Fill out the entry form completely. Entries should have a suggested category on the entry form; however, final placement will be at the discretion of the appropriate ECQG
committee and/or judges.


And none of the categories listed to choose from provided any measurement parameters.

I know that in some shows it's stated that the committee/judges reserve the right to switch a quilt's category.
Others shows will reject the quilt if it comes in and doesn't match the category requirements.

I just found it interesting as it was the first time I'd seen that flexibility - putting the total determination of category into the hands of the committee/judges - in rules for a show.
