My trip to the bank this afternoon turned into a quilting find at a thrift store! I decided to "just run in" to the thrift shop to see if they had more summer skirts and right next to the skirts I saw a plastic bag with a quilt pattern page and some folded pieces of fabric. I like scrappy quilts so the small amount I felt in it was fine for $2. When I got home I found that inside 4 folded 1/2 yd pieces was all the cut out squares for the quilt on the page and enough for the queen size top! I definitely patted myself on the back for that one!
