I recently heard that an erasable (by friction) gel pen made by Pilot and tagged as a "frixion ball" style is being used by quilters as a marking tool for fabric. The brief description I heard as to the merits of the pen is enticing, but I missed the details as to the effects of ironing, laundering and extreme temperatures when using this pen on fabric.

I would love to hear from anyone knowing about this pen.
