When I come up on worrisome times, I practice one of my grandfather's pieces of advice.
Figure out what the worst that can happen will be.
Decide what you are going to do if the worst case scenario comes to be.
Then, relax and let things progress, as they always do.
Anything less than the worst is a good thing and quite manageable.

It sounds rather flip, I suppose, but I know that worrying can be harder on a person than the actual situation. If you can make your decisions while there is still time to control next steps, then when things get all hot and heavy, you KNOW what to do next.
It works ... and, it helps to know that GOD is in control.
