here is a hint from watching Amish handquilt......they will occasionally run the needle thru their hair and when I asked why I was told the natural oil from your hair will make that needle slide thru the fabric.....I do it and it works!!!!! I know a bit of lamb's wool will do the same(I guess that is the lanolin in the wool)
My sister mentioned the same thing about running the needle through your hair. I do it sometimes myself. Yes, it does work.
