It's great, not only for quilting, but also for sewing on buttons... makes the thread stronger. I wouldn't be without it! One time a store here had a bunch of notions in a bin for 4/$1. I rummaged through the bin and got all the beeswax things they had and went home with 8 of them. The check-out lady looked at me sort of funny, but I just smiled and pretended there was nothing unusual about all those beeswax things. :)
