MrG and I went to an estate/tag/barn sale Friday. They had almost nothing, we got there at tag #50 (we were 112 and 113) We decided to wait because we had a great parking spot. You had to go thru the house before they let you in the barn. In the attic of the barn, i opened a black cardboard file cabinet that was tucked on the bottom shelf behind some debris. Inside was a Singer 101! I was so excited, i almost cried. I got it for $35 and it works! MrG took me back Sat for the "half price" day and we bought a sewing machine cabinet that was in the house. He's got it all put together and sewing. I did go to that mySINGERstory.com website that one of you recommended, put in the serial numbers and got years my baby machines were born. Singer sent me a certificate for each. I now have 7 machines.
