My friend Donna brought me this quilt for LAQ.
Donna is a very sweet lady that used to host a bible study I was part of for many years. She took up quilting only a few years ago, she is in her 70's and she is a pro!
She is currently making quilts for all of her children..this one is for her daughter in law..a quick easy one..as all of her others are more difficult patterns....which she does very well.
Anyway she wanted feathers...and I thought the confined feathers within the box would be pretty..I just put filler designs in all the rest....It is a very nice finish.
I quilted this all freehand and used HObbs polydown batting.
