Well, I never attempted/finished July's star - so I thought I'd do this one early. Especially considering it was so 'easy'. It was a much needed relief, and it's still adorable, I think.
Not sure now about my choice of black in this star. It looks a little modern for all my florals. Plus the red is more than I was hoping to use, as with my other blocks (see second pic) I only use little bits of red.
Oh well - it was quick. Took only about an hour. Maybe now I'll get the guts to attempt July's star.
