When making this be sure to go heavy on the starch, the thing about the tube is that it creates bias edges on the outside. Be careful not to stretch...handle the fabric like a newborn baby.
I didn't buy any special rulers, I used my degrees mark on my long ruler, using painters tape to mark where you need is helpful.
