My machine does not have the best lighting system. So, I use a 'Bendable' light that attaches to my sewing machine, that shines downs on the needle/sewing area. Then I have a 'Ott' (table top) light that I set behind my machine that lights the back side and throat area. Ott lights can be found at Joanns. The Bendable I have seen at quilt shops and sewing machine centers.
