I live in the country (at least for another month) and every year they have a Barn Quilt tour. It's a list of about 20 different barns that have 20 different quilt patterns painted on them. Most are the same size as in the picture. Some of the barns actually have a 'stop and see' going on. It could be farm related, quilt related ('old time quilting party') or even churning butter or carding wool. It involves one county (Champaign County Ohio) and a bit of driving. For a nominal fee you get the map of the barns to go along at your own pace. Beautiful countryside.
