Suzie, not to worry about the mix-up....just happy you like your dragon!

As for the process.....fused applique using a teensy zigzag stitch. I also used tear-away stabilizer on the back....mostly because of all those tiny twists and turns.

Sorry I don't remember exactly what sizes I used for stitch length and width, but if you're doing something like that just play with varying sizes til you get what you're wanting. This one was a challenge for me and the edges didn't come out quite as neat as I would have liked.

My machine is a Brother QC1000 with more kinds of stitches than I'll ever use, but I love it for all the convenience features that my "vintage" Singer didn't have.
