I know how you feel about your Featherweight! I also know it is a very forgiving machine. But I'm also reluctant to let youngsters near it since they often have a tendency to want to turn all the knobs (like tension, presser bar pressure, etc). At least they can't change the type of stitch like on the multi-stitch modern machines!

I'm thinking of letting them use the treadle I recently acquired as soon as I get the belt taken care of.
