Mine is up hanging from the ceiling. Hung two chains the width of roll, took broom handle and put hook in each end, put handle through tube of batting and hook each end to the chains.
I have space for one roll of batting under my long arm machine table and two rolls of additional batting hung from the ceiling above my cutting table. We used closet rod for the hanging rolls.
