I recently completed a zig zag quilt. The tutorial (http://beesquarefabrics.blogspot.com...t-without.html) says to cut off the zig zag points to finish it but I don't want to do that. I want to keep the points. Do you think the best way to do that is to make a seam and (machine) applique each one to the trim fabric? I tried to put a piece of black backing on each point so that each one would be flapping (no official quilt terms here  ). But that didn't seem to work out. HELP! IDEAS Needed!! Thanks.
