you know,Mom taught me [56] years ago to use a mouse[scrap piece of fabric,small enough to contain about six stitches].I used this method for years. A really great idea. It saved thread, wasn't messy; no threads left on the floor or project; my machine never jammed up. ect....
Along comes Bonnie Hunter; with 'Leaders And Enders'. Another really great idea and method.It also takes some pre- planning and organizing. I really love her ideas,patterns, skills, teaching methods.When I grow up, I want to be just like her.
To get to the reason I'm writeing, just pick up your next two pieces of fabric, sew them , chain stitching. Even if it is just two pieces. Do not cut between before adding two more. Just continue this way throughout your block.Your b lock will be neater.You only need to be organized up to the next step. Ha -ha.... Sometimes that's only as far as I get with planning ahead.
