It looks like you used the Juki's own surround? and then covered it too with the clear plastic top so there's no place for thread or fuzz or whatever to get into the crack? That is a good idea and it might help with my Janome which has no sharp corners on the bed, and even to the left of the needle, that area slopes down.

What a nice machine, too. It looks like you could drive a truck through the harp! I'm jealous!
Well, I just put the Juki on a mini pini frame and love it. I put my old Sears electronic sewing machine with the Juki surround. you can do anything if you just play around a little. Love my harp
