Okay, I got the initial kit from a quilt store based in Chillicothe, OH when I was at the Columbus Quilt Show in June but I embellished it to meet my DH request (hey, he bought me a Featherweight) and went to work on my very first quilt. I finished it this afternoon exactly 3 months after starting on the design and creation. We are both graduates of Ohio State so this quilt is very appropriate for us Ohioans. I hope I did well - learned a lot and thank you to everyone of you for all your ideas and tips - they helped a lot in this endeavor.
