Thank you everyone for the kind words. Yes it was quite a challenge. The center star is all strip pieced then cut 1 1/8 inch strips and resewn. I was afraid I would make miss cuts of the 1 1/8 strips so I went to Lowes and had the guy cut a piece of plexiglass 1 1/8 inches wide 2 ft. long and a few other different widths and 3 different size squares. All for about $8.00, no cutting fee just pay for the plexiglass. I thought that was quite a deal. I pieced this quilt on a Featherweight. Love those little things. Ruth
