My grandson left yesterday morning for the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After we cleaned his room and threw away a ton of trash, we had gathered a lot of things that he had failed to pack. So being loving grandparents, and of course wanting to visit my sister who also resides in Fayetteville, we packed a suitcase, the dog, and the things he left behind, and made the trip to the UofA. We called him when we got there, met him on the parking lot by his dorm and gave him his things! Then we drove around the campus. It has changed a great deal since we attended in the 60s and 70s!. We met my sister at her apartment, left the dog, and went to dinner. This morning we got up early. (She is still working at the law school.) She went to work. We ate breakfast, then headed out to visit a couple of quilt shops and some antique malls. Had a great visit. Found some fabric for curtains in the vacant bed room and returned home safe but tired. Grandson is now officially a RAZORBACK!
