The first thing I was taught in hairdressing school was "There is no such thing as FRIENDS in business".
It's a wonder they didn't ask you to do this long ago to save them postage but they're desperate now....Don't do it, you'll hate yourself in the morning.
If it was me, I'd just tell the one with the cajones to ask that I don't even want to go there because it would be a detriment to the many friendships you hold dear in the group.
My gosh, they really can't expect you to pick up the slave wage gauntlet they threw down. Good luck...if you need to hide, I'm just 1 1/2 hours away just north of Dunedin.
BTW, zhills, are you going to Jacksonville next month for the quilt show? I plan to be there. Maybe we'll run into each other there....Just look for my tarnished halo. (^..^)
Oh, forgot to mention, my LAQ at Rainbow's End charged me $135 for a queen snowball 9 patch ( I supplied batting, backing and thread).... I do my own now but I thought that was a fair price...she did a beautiful job.
