I became an empty nester at 54, but a few years later the babies started coming, now we have baby toys, high chairs and starting all over with the kids thing...I love it much more than those teen years.... I have plenty of time for me and even though one daughter just lives 2 streets away and she is here A LOT...I am OK with her and I love the kids around. I can say no when I want now.
