Well, the Tennessee Valley area sounds about right. This area is where I want to retire..... I grew up in FL and am currently in Tampa for awhile...no longer than a year at the most.. but I will be back. TVA (Tennessee, Northern Alabama) area has lot's to offer .. four season's, very snow, easy living..close to moutains and not that far to the beaches of Florida.
Also, Alabama does not have property tax when you are 65 or older and TN does not tax SS..... look on
