Just ooc, and it's probably a really stupid question and I'm not saying I'd ever do it.... but could you dye it after it was all done and quiltied?

Paint it Micki Lawler SkyDyes-ish? Let's say it's wall hanging size.
Stay stitch the outside edges, before the binding.
Or, even better, paint it including the binding.
I'd probably be blocking it anyway so it would be getting wet at some point.

What do you think could happen to it?
