the Log Cabin with a Twist pattern? I have a very sweet and dear quilting friend who is bestowing upon me her entire stash including all her books and notiions. The Log Cabin with a Twist is one she was really wanting to make for herself but she is no longer able to quilt and is giving it up. So, I thought it would be a nice gesture to make this one for her but I wanted to see if any of the wonderfully smart ladies on this site had any suggestions for making this pattern easier to do.
