I just love American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. It just fits my style. I thought I would share two of my "works" I created from the Aug edition. The first one is only a quilt top right now, but will finish it before Christmas for a Present. The pattern was titled "Weaving the Rails" on page 45. It was made with left over strips from a hexagon quilt I am making for my son. When the magazine arrived I was in that "mood" to start a new project but not sure what. Ta-Dah! The magazine solved that delimma! Here is my version using 2.5" strip and 8' blocks.

The next project I saw in the August magazine was a mini wall hanging called "Stitcher's Studio". I just love this little thing! After I enter it in our county fair, It will hang proudly in my Sewing Playground!

Thanks for Looking!
