I have not made this quilt but it is on my to-do list. I have some questions:
1. How much too big are your geese units in comparison to the side of the star block you need to attach them to?
2. Is each flying geese unit too big the same amount all the way around no matter which goose unit you try to match up to any of the sides?
3. Is the variance small enough that you can "ease in" the goose units or stretch the star unit a bit?
4. Do you have enough wiggle room on you goose unit points that you can take in your joining seams just a tad or will you lose your triangle points by doing that?
5. Did you use a scant 1/4" seam allowance when assembling the stars?
