I remember a speaker at quilt guild telling us that when something just doesn't work, put it in a box, put a name of one of your unfavorite relatives on the box, and put that box away in a closet. Makes you feel real good knowing that someday they are going to receive this box, thinking that you remembered them. You get the last laugh knowing what you have really given to them.
