The importance of stretching is vital. My chiropractor asked me once what I did when I first woke up in the morning. I told him that I first hit the snooze alarm twice and then jump out of bed on a run to the shower. He said that was why my muscles were in knots. He said I should do as animals do when they wake up........stretch, stretch,stretch
