She's just brilliant and talented. And even if she were lying (which I don't believe she is) what does it matter? She isn't getting extra points for being a novice...
She is a beauty queen and has been designing and making her own clothes for competition, so she is familiar with how clothes are constructed. I think she is fabulous.
Yes, they did all have portfolios, and on their audition interview they all showed some of their pieces. Didn't you see the first episode?
I'm also a fan of the show and I think she is fabulous also.
