They are both cute but I would probably opt for the 2nd one because there is no applique involved. A jigsaw quilt would make a good one for Quilts for Kids. I have someone coming in today to add some electrical circuits to my sewing room so I'm exiled. Maybe I'll rescue some FQs and do some cutting today for a jigsaw. :)
