Thanks for all of the ideas...yes, I am going to sash it, posted below are the 3 fabrics I am considering, any ideas on those, too?? I really like all the ideas so far, the black thread is one I am leaning towards...besides my old match each part, which really does take so long...thanks again for your ideas, and opinions on the sashing fabric...
What if you used one color thread for each block, picking the dominant color, orange, green, red, etc? You could also match the bold blue. I like the bolder blue for shashing. Setting it on the diagonal would be awesome but that's a lot of unstable bias to work with!
