I have rheumatoid arthritis so when I started to sew it was very challenging. My Step mom, my cousin and a friend started a little sewing group they gave me a basket of material and sewing supplies. In the beginning they had to thread the needle for me and even cut the material. The very first thing I made was a sock monkey, he came out a little crooked but with personality! Ever since then I have been hooked on sewing. I have good days and bad days, during my good days I sew. I have made quilts for each of my 4 grand-daughters and now I am making one for my daughter. It is an envelope quilt and I want it to be extra special so I am going to try and hand quilt it. I thought about doing a stitch in the ditch but then I don't know what to on the envelope part. Any suggestions?
