Loading one stitch on the needle at a time- poke needle down through the layers and right back up through the layers in one stitch, then draw the thread through after it- instead of loading several stitches on the needle before drawing the thread through. Most quilters load at least a couple of stitches on a needle at a time because they feel the work goes faster that way- which makes borntohandquilts exquisite, time-consuming work all the more amazing! :)
