The name of the quilt pattern is Kaleidoscope. That should have been my first clue. I had already made up my mind that I wasn't going to make a OBW when I saw this one. It is a Strip Therapy pattern and they are just simple quilts done with 2 1/2 in strips. Just add borders, right? Everyone knows that. Well let me tell you, if I had read the whole pattern before I started cutting it out, I never would have started it.
I'm not aquainted with the pattern but at first glance I'm surprised that directions didn't say to sew strips together first before cutting out the triangles.
But it sure looks beautiful. Great choice of colors. I hope it will grow on you.
