Finally, this weekend I worked on this quilt top to finish it with my plan for wonky snowballs. Moments before I started sewing them, I drew a picture of 3 of them and what I wanted to achieve, but after doing 68 snowballs, after awhile, any angle works great on each of the 4 corners as long as they are different. It was fun! I loved doing these! If you try them, just make sure nothing meets right and you'll have a great WSB! It's hard to see the quilt from this distance, so I'll show closeups. And you know me, I love to do that! The last pic is a great surprise in the quilt and just shows my love for God's stars! Have fun making WS and WSB!! :D

the stars seem to light up in this pic!

I used large scale in the corners too!

I used dark corners with lights and light corners with darks

plaid and striped snowballs added interest

Do you see the heart in the background? This was a surprise to me! p.s. focus your eyes on the white/lt. fabs and follow the arrow at the top of the pic, down the left side of the heart to the bottom of the pic, you see the point of heart, and then up the rt. side a little. Do you see it now?
