Check out Sulky Fabric Solvy. You place the pattern on your scanner and print the pattern onto the mesh side of the Sulky. Peel off the paper backing and stick it to your fabric. Stitch right thru the mesh and when you're all done doing the embroidery, soak it in water and the mesh goes away. A little hint, use an extra piece of muslin on the back of your work and your little thread tails won't show thru your work. Thanks for the pattern website.
